Ghost Chef, also known as the Kitchen Wizard, is a recurring character who can cook up dishes for the player after completing his quest in Chapter 3.
Appearance
In his ghost form in Chapter 3, he appears as a blue-colored Robloxian figure with a black-colored torso and legs, symbolizing clothing. He adorns a chef's hat and the "What In The World" Roblox T Shirt, and also seems to be transparent as well.
Description
He first appears as a chef for Blackrock Castle as a minor character in Chapter 1, who later gets killed by Tutorial Terry. After being saved by Telamon, he can be found as the chef of The Manor, which appears in Chapter 3.
In Chapter 1, when interacted with, the player will be tasked with giving him a 'rose-colored' liquid, in which the player will instead grab the 'scarlet' liquid bottle having seen no difference, resulting in the kitchen equipment being destroyed.
Afterwards, Kitchen Wizard is seen lying on the floor after Tutorial Terry's dialogue ends. Kitchen Wizard's corpse is instead replaced with "Here Lies Wizard" engraved gravestone upon returning to the Blackrock Castle Kitchen after completing the chapter.
In Chapter 3, he can cook up dishes for the player. His cooking can be upgraded in Chapter 4 after the player finds the Cookbook.
Quest
Kitchen Wizard will task the player to get Spider Cider, Dust and a Raw Turkey for the soup he is preparing. He gives clues on where to go to find the items. The items do not require his quests to be collected but must be handed in the order he requests them.
(The chef requests the Turkey and tells the player directions to go right , towards the dining room but it should be left.)
After completing his quest, the Player receives the Ghost Potion along with the ability to cook items.
Recipes
Returning any time after completing his three-part fetch quest allows the player to prompt him to cook. Giving him an item will turn it into something else.

Combinations
As of Demo 4, obtaining the Cookbook and providing it to him allows him to cook using two ingredients at once. The result is a single item with combined or altered properties of the components. The order of the two ingredients is irrelevant to the product, and any incompatible combination will result in a Mistake, just like with single-ingredient cooking.

Trivia

- While the Ghost Chef is talking about how he became a ghost, we can see the equation on his shirt change over the cutscenes:
- In the first five scenes, the equation on his shirt doesn't seem to change.
- In the sixth scene, we can see the equation on his shirt change to , which shows a derivative of a function.
- In the eighth scene, we can see the equation change to , which might represent him getting reduced to nothing.
- In the twelfth scene, we can finally see the equation change to , which might represent an undecided fate.
- Before getting the Steamed Dust and Turkey, some lines of dialogue will go off of the textbox.
- Ghost Chef could be inspired from both Tayce T. and Zess T. from Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door respectively.
- All three are encountered early on in the game's story, but their main mechanics are unintroduced during that time.
- All three are talented at cooking and can be given ingredients to cook them into upgraded items.
- A Cookbook can be found in each Chapter 4 and given to their respective characters which allows them to combine two items.
- Ghost Chef used to cook in the Astral Restaurant, as stated from NPC Farchew's dialouge, before working for Cruel King then working for Telamon's Manor.
- There is a possibility they are nonbinary because the use of They/Them pronouns by other ghosts in the manor.
